Our newest member of the Equicast team, Warwick Bloomfield owner of Berkshire Farrier Services Ltd. of Bracknell, England. Warwick will be the exclusive importer of Equicast into United Kingdom and Europe.

Last week I was shoeing on a yard in Hampshire, England. Whilst chatting with the owner of the yard she mentioned that there was a horse on the yard that could not be shod because hooves were in such a bad way and that both the farrier and vet could do nothing. I asked if I could see the horse to see if I could do anything. As you can see from the  photos below what I was presented with was unshoeable. However, a few days earlier I had been given some samples of the new Equicast tape. By now the owner had arrived and I suggested we try this new product. I explained to the owner that I had no instructions on how to use it, just the product leaflet, but as the horse was in such pain we had nothing to lose by trying it. So I prepared the hoof as per instructions on the leaflet and applied the Equicast tape. I was very pleased at how easy it was to use. Once it had harden in an incredible 2
minutes the horse walked out almost sound. I would say it went from 9/10ths lame to 2/10th lame in about five minutes. After that I decided to nail on the new "SSS Performance Shoe" which is designed for Balanced shoeing on to the cast. It was like nailing into healthy horn and the horse walked off almost sound. The owner has text me to say everything is fine and that they are absolutely delighted with the result. I can see that this product has a
multitude of uses for many hoof problems and with its easy application can be used by professional and owners alike. This is going to solve so many problems that we encounter on a daily basis. From laminitis to thin soles
to white line disease, crumbling walls, I could go on and on! To contact me for more information on Equicast in the UK and Europe go to www.bfsequine.com Working for the horses well fare. Warwick.
